Important Update

On Wednesday June 20, there is a mandatory meeting for EVERYONE going on the Washington, D.C. trip. All band and color guard members going to DC need to attend, as well as at least one parent, even if no parent is going on the trip!   The meeting should last about a half hour.

We will be giving out lots of important information at this meeting. We will also be handing out all the remaining and last minute forms that we were recently given and are required to submit for our participation in the parade. Your student cannot go on this trip without these forms on file.

On Wednesday, the band has practice from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, and we will meet immediately after practice in the auditorium. Please bring any insurance information with you to this meeting so you may fill out the paperwork completely.

Band uniforms will also be distributed to the incoming freshman so we are asking all incoming freshman without a uniform to come in 1 hour early, 5:00, on Wednesday before practice.

Wednesday is the last practice before the “Send Off” ceremony and it will be the last time we can practice marching before we perform in Washington.  Attendance at this rehearsal is crucial so we can get the proper placement of students in the parade line up and the proper number of chairs on stage for the send off ceremony.

See everyone on Wednesday!!
