Below is a link to a form that must be signed by the parade participants only. This includes the directors and 6 chaperones that will be marching with the group in the parade. If you could print this out and bring it back at tonight’s rehearsal it would be much appreciated. All signed forms need to be handed in no later than Wednesday, May 23rd. This form is in addition to the other Agreement Release form you should have already submitted. So, yes, there are TWO Agreement Release Forms that must be signed and submitted as soon as possible.
Also, just a reminder that we need students to sign-up for the car wash this weekend. There is 138 students going on the Washington trip and only 6 signed-up to help with the car wash. Chaperones for the car wash are also needed. Your help is much appreciated.

Jazz Ensemble has their last performance scheduled for Four Seasons Metedeconk in Jackson. All members are to report directly there by 6pm.
All Senior scholarship essays and Varsity Letter essays are due to Mr. Katona no later than May 21.

Jazz band will be traveling to Holmdel for their last competition of the year on Friday. They will be meeting at school at 5:45, departing no later than 6. Warm up is 7:15 and performance is 8:10. The jazz band will also be practicing tomorrow after school from 2-4.
Congratulations to the Jackson Liberty trombone section for being award “Best Trombone Section” in the State of NJ at tonight’s 2012 NJ State Jazz Finals. Not only do we have the Best Trombones in the State but Justin Richards was one of four awarded as “Best Soloist” in the State. Overall, the band was ranked 4th in the State of NJ, missing 3rd place by 5 tenths of a point, that close!!! CONGRATS!!!!
The jazz will will not be practicing this Tuesday as there is the talent show that day, but will be practicing on Thursday for their last competition of the year on Friday.
First, mark your calendars, the June band parent meeting is being moved up one week to Wednesday June 6th at 7:30. Reason we have moved the meeting is because representatives from Youth Education in the Arts will be coming to talk about the upcoming Drum Corps Show.
Tomorrow, the Jazz Band competes in the NJ State Finals at Burlington City H.S. Please come out and cheer on the jazz band.
Tuesday is the Talent Show, 7pm. All Tri-M members are to attend and help.
Wednesday is woodwind choir practice 4-5:30 and the concert is the following day. Students are to report Thursday at 6pm.

Due to a family emergency in Bob Clifford’s family, tomorrow’s band parent meeting is cancelled and moved to next Thursday, April 26th, at 7:30PM. The shoe order fitting has also been moved until next Thursday, April 26th, at 7:00PM. The candy fundraiser will also be distributed next Thursday evening.
